The rector of Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, Dr. Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi has been commended for putting in place a great platform for the training of young and professional broadcasters on Campus.
The commendation was made by the General Manager of the Polytechnic’s Campus FM (Standard FM 89.3) Mallam Usman Mohammed Tokurah during a ceremony held recently to honour some of the station’s intern and volunteer staff with certificates of voluntary service.

The GM commended the volunteers for good work which, according to him, was based on their track records during their services with station in the past two years.
Tokurah also advised the Intern members to maintain discipline in all their endeavors, stating that only discipline can make them come out successful in their pursuits.

He then lauded the efforts of the intern members especially for their eagerness to learn new things despite limited resources.
He however thanked the Rector for the opportunity, saying “We thank the Rector for putting in place a great platform such as this that has trained so many young media personnels on the professional and practical angle of Mass Communication Practice”.
Highlight of the event was the sendforth of the members and issuing of certificates.
